Man Busted with Over 34,000 Child Porn Images
Robert Abbott, a 32-year-old man from South Australia, appeared in court this week on several very serious charges.
Abbott, who allegedly possessed over 34,000 images of children, plead guilty to the charges of obtaining and possessing child pornography. According to the prosecution, Abbott actually possessed over 85,000 images, but the number was reduced to 34,000.
Abbott was charged last year after an investigation into ‘Kids - The Light Of Our Lives’, a notorious UK website. The incidents allegedly occurred between 2006 and last year.
Abbott is currently released on bail, will be assessed by a psychologist before his sentencing next month.
